One of our customers’ favorite things about the Udderly EZ milker is its easy-to-clean design. We carried that feature over to our Ultimate EZ milker, too.
If you haven’t already, take a look at our YouTube video on cleaning your Ultimate EZ milker.
All you need to do is soak the collector bottle, extractor tube, and inserts in warm soapy water, rinse, and air dry! That’s a lot simpler than pulsator machines, which are difficult to take apart and even more difficult to get thoroughly clean and that whole process will need to be repeated twice daily.
We recently had a question from a reader about the air hoses you can see on the pump—these are air hoses, which should not need to be cleaned unless milk is accidentally aspirated into them. As long as the pump is set at the correct pressure per package instructions, or if a bottle gets accicently kicked or bumped off this should be no problem. If it does happen though, you’ll need to wash the hoses and the overflow bottle in soapy water as well, hang and let dry.
Now, get cleaning!
