I’m excited to announce to my thousands of devout followers that I will soon be a mother! It has been a long journey for me, since we all know single parenthood is never easy for working mothers. After extensive interviews and background checks, I secured my own personal OB/GYN, as I took one look at the boots on the farmer my Human sent to my stall and said, ‘No way.’
This fellow is top-of-the-line and helped me pick out just the right match for me from a catalogue of sperm donors, which as we know, is a great way to meld nature and genetic nurture.
I’ll have details (including a due date and birth plan) soon. In the meantime, I’m making a list of the things I need to teach The Human before the little one arrives. Most of the time, I’ve found calves are quicker studies than bipeds, which is why cows do so well even under brief’ tutelage from our mothers. I also need to get my Google Calendar in order before the little one arrives–the Human keeps telling me we’ve got months to go before the calf arrives, but I’m already lowering my milk production to make sure I can juggle career and parenting.
I’m honored to bring another Milking Instructor into the world! Stay tuned for more info.
